DAS is an acronym which stands for Distributed Antenna System. The term DAS has been around since the mid-1980s .

       DAS is mainly used in places with complex environments and indoor environments with relatively high requirements for signal stability, such as smart hospitals, smart ships, villas, nursing homes and other places.

     The DAS system is mainly composed of ceiling antenna, power splitter, coupler, signal amplifier, combiner, RF cable, etc. Through the design of the system and power distribution, the signal is evenly distributed into each space, so that data and signals can be transmitted stably.

      DAS can be divided into passive DAS and active DAS according to performance. Passive DAS is mainly composed of passive components in the entire system. In addition to containing some passive devices, active DAS also contains some active devices, such as smart antennas, couplers that can be DC passed, etc.
