6GHz Frontier, Featherweight Champion: 5W of GaN Power in an 8.7g PCBA
The 6-7.2GHz spectrum is the new playground for FPV innovation, WiFi 6E/7 expansion, and next-generation drone links. The ACASOM 5W 6-7.2GHz Broadband FPV VTX Amplifier PCBA delivers this cutting-edge frequency coverage in an ultralight package weighing just 8.7 grams. Pumping out a clean 37dBm (5W) of RF power with 45% GaN efficiency, this bare-board module is purpose-built for weight-critical builds that demand access to the 6GHz frontier.
Engineered for FPV pilots exploring 6GHz video links, drone integrators deploying WiFi 6E telemetry, and RF developers prototyping 7GHz applications, this amplifier slips into the tightest frames and disappears into custom builds—all while delivering professional-grade performance.
Why This 5W 6-7.2GHz PCBA Amplifier is a Game-Changer:
Optimized for 6-7.2GHz Spectrum: Specifically engineered for the 6000-7200MHz range—covering emerging 6GHz FPV bands, WiFi 6E/7 unlicensed spectrum, and next-generation drone communication links.
Incredible Power-to-Weight Ratio: Delivers 5W (37dBm) of clean output while weighing only 8.7g—the ultimate choice for weight-sensitive FPV drones exploring the 6GHz frontier.
High-Efficiency GaN Technology: Achieves ≥45% power efficiency at full output using advanced Gallium Nitride devices, meaning less heat generation and lower current draw from your flight battery.
Powerful 35dB Gain: A robust 35dB gain stage ensures your existing VTX signal is boosted to maximum power with minimal added noise, preserving critical video quality.
Ultra-Compact PCBA Form Factor: Measures just 69x38x4mm—easily integrates into tight spaces, ideal for custom 6GHz FPV builds, ground stations, or embedded RF systems.
Wide Voltage Compatibility: Accepts 22-28V DC input with a dedicated control line (3-32V) for remote on/off switching from your flight controller.
Premium Components: Built with high-reliability, military-grade components for consistent performance across extended temperature ranges (-30℃ to +85℃).

Critical Usage Notes:
Power Supply Requirement: Use a stable 24V / 1A minimum DC power supply. For best results, a 24V / 1.5A supply is recommended for headroom.
Thermal Management: At full 5W output, adequate heat dissipation is recommended. In enclosed spaces or continuous operation, consider a small heatsink or ensure passive airflow.
Safe Connection Sequence: Always connect the antenna FIRST, then apply DC power, and finally enable your RF source.
Optimal Input Drive: For maximum clean output (up to 37dBm), provide an input signal of 3-4dBm (accounting for the 35dB gain). Avoid overdriving the input beyond +10dBm.
Control Line Function: The control line (3-32V) enables remote on/off switching—ideal for flight controller integration or power management systems.
PCBA Handling: This is a bare-board module. Ensure proper insulation, secure mounting, and vibration protection to prevent shorts and physical damage in flight.
Ideal For (6-7.2GHz Applications):
6GHz FPV Pioneers: Be among the first to explore the 6GHz FPV band with lightweight, efficient 5W amplification
WiFi 6E/7 Drone Telemetry: Boost 6GHz telemetry links for reliable data transmission from UAVs
Ultra-Light Long-Range Builds: Push 5.8GHz video links to extreme distances with minimal weight penalty
Research & Development: Compact 6-7.2GHz amplifier for lab testing and field prototyping
Custom RF Projects: Integrate into OEM designs where space, weight, and 6GHz coverage are critical
Technical Excellence:
